Pathway to Professionalism ... While the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the National Association establishes objective, enforceable ethical standards governing the professional conduct of REALTORS, it does not address issues of courtesy or etiquette. Based on input from many sources, the Professional Conduct Working Group of the Professional Standards Committee developed the following list of professional courtesies for use by REALTORS on a voluntary basis. This list is not all-inclusive, and may be supplemented by local custom and practice.)

Association Executive Scholarship
The Ohio Association of REALTORS annually awards one scholarship to an Association Executive for the National Association of REALTORS AE Institute. Recipients will receive a maximum of $1500 for expenses.

The scholarship is open to all REALTOR Association Executives. Candidates must apply by August 15 each year and selection of the scholarship will be done by a newly created AE Scholarship Subcommittee composed of AEs and a representative of the OAR Executive Committee, all appointed by the current OAR President.

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of professional development, leadership and financial need and will be announced at the Annual Convention.

Get involved in the Tomorrow's Leaders Today program
Member involvement is crucial to the continued success of any volunteer organization. The Ohio Association of REALTORS is no exception to this rule. OAR is continually engaged in the process of searching out members who have the potential to and interest in becoming more active in the Association. To that end, OAR created the Tomorrow's Leaders Today (TLT) Program. The objective of the TLT program is to encourage member involvement in the Ohio Association of REALTORS.This is accomplished by providing one free OAR Convention registration (a $140 value!) to one member from each Local Board/Association who has never attended an OAR Convention.
