The President’s Sales Club recognizes outstanding achievement in the real estate industry. This year’s deadline to submit an application is July 21, 2012.

2012 REALTOR of the Year program
This program allows Local Boards/Associations to submit its local REALTOR of the Year into OAR’s contest. Only one nominee may be submitted for consideration.

Distinguished Service Award
This award is presented to individuals who have been actively involved in the three levels of the REALTOR organization for 25 years or more. The following criteria applies:

1. The nominee must have attained the age of 60.
2. The nominee must have a minimum aggregate total of 25 years as a licensed Ohio real estate agent/broker.
3. The nominee has contributed 25 years of voluntary service, including leadership positions in local, state and national association and/or the Institutes, Societies and Councils. Further, nominees must be active in all levels of the Association at the time of submitting an application.
4. The nominee has not served as president of the Ohio Association of REALTORS; or is not an executive officer or local or state staff member.

(DSA Rules and Criteria) The Application can be filled out online, but must be printed and signed by the Board/Association or Institute, Society or Council president and mailed and/or faxed into OAR. For questions, contact Nikki Gasbarro at [email protected]

OAR Certificate of Merit Award
This award recognizes a Local Board that has participated in a community service or housing needs program during the time period from September 2011 to September 2012. The application can be completed online and will be available in Spring 2012. Application must be submitted into OAR by August 15, 2012.

Excellence in Community Service Award
This award recognizes an individual REALTOR (at the Board’s discretion more than one person may be nominated if all were involved in the same project) who has demonstrated outstanding participation (from 2011-1012) at the Local Board/Association level in planning or implementing a community service or housing needs project. The Application can be completed online, but must be signed by the E.O. or Board President and mailed and/or faxed into OAR. Application deadline is Wednesday, August 15, 2012.
