Shannon McGahn is the Chief Advocacy Officer for the National Association of REALTORS.
Bringing nearly two decades of experience working with or for the legislative and executive branches of the U.S. government, McGahn will leverage her political expertise to drive the strategy of NAR and the REALTOR Party as Chief Advocacy Officer. Before joining NAR in 2018, McGahn served as the staff director for the House Financial Services Committee and, prior to that, as a counselor to the U.S. Treasury Secretary. She also held communications roles for three members of House leadership during her nearly 20-year Capitol Hill career. McGahn will be the first female Chief Advocacy Officer in NAR's 110-year history.
