Chris Alusheff is a full-time Zoning Inspector in Chester Township and part-time Zoning Inspector in Claridon Township, in Geauga County. His involvement in zoning began when his company, Geauga Cleaning & Organizing LLC, won a contract to organize the paper zoning files in Claridon Township.. In 2022 he became Zoning Inspector in Claridon. In 2023, he left the day-to-day operations of his cleaning company to pursue a full-time career in Zoning when he became Zoning Inspector in Chester Township. Chris is an active member of the Ohio Township Association Zoning Inspector group and recently restarted the Geauga County Zoning Inspector group. Since starting at Chester Township he has implemented use of GIS software and permit tracking software, added a planning component to the zoning department with a Land Use Plan update in progress, as well as added efficiency to the zoning forms and application process.
