  1. Ohio Goes Global: Ohio REALTORS understand that the work of our industry extends well beyond our state and national borders. In fact, here in Ohio we have 133 international companies doing business every single day. We are connected like never before which impacts everything we do. The real estate industry is no exception. The way we do business has changed. The needs of your clients have changed. The way our industry must perform has changed. That’s why here at Ohio REALTORS we are going Global!
  2. Young Professionals Network: The Network’s purpose is to cultivate the next generation of REALTOR Association leaders. It ensures that the organization’s interests as well as committees are well represented among all age group and experience levels. The Network will work to establish local chapters within Ohio REALTORS’s five districts with the help of District Vice Presidents and Local Board Leaders.
  3. Ohio Opioid Alliance: After joining the Ohio Opioid Education Alliance, an organization of more than 50 businesses and industry groups, Ohio REALTORS took a leading role. By leveraging our vast, statewide network and relationships with local elected officials, we have opened the doors for “Community Convenings” in several cities and have been highlighted as a premier member of the Alliance.

    Sustainability Efforts: Ohio REALTORS is working hard to build awareness and create a culture of sustainability at the association and with its members. Changes with a focus on environmentally friendly outcomes have already been put into place with the 2021 building renovation. Look for an increased presence with sustainability topics on social media, including a “did you know” campaign that will share ways that REALTORS and consumers can be more sustainable in their day-to-day lives.

    Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Toolkit: Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is a term used to describe policies and programs that promote the representation and participation of different groups of individuals, including people of different ages, races and ethnicities, abilities and disabilities, genders, religions, cultures and sexual orientations. The US Census Bureau shows that the homeownership gap between Whites and Blacks is larger than it was 80 years ago. Thus the need for more education on diversity in housing.
