Mary has served as the Executive Director of the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission since January 2021. Prior to leading the Planning Commission, Mary was a Senior Director of Site Strategies and Director of Business Attraction at Team NEO for 10 years. Prior to Team NEO she served as a Private-Sector Planning Consultant. She is a Certified Planner through the American Planning Association and serves on the NOACA Board of Directors and the Board of the Aerozone Alliance.

Mary is strategic and mission-oriented and has extensive experience in building strategic coalitions and relationships with the purpose of creating and expanding new economic and business opportunities for communities. With 25+ years of planning and economic development experience, in both the private and non-profit sectors, she is recognized as an influencer and convenor through public service and leadership on local, regional and national committees. Mary showcases a deep dedication to realizing proactive, sustainable and healthy communities that offer a solid foundation in which residents and businesses can succeed.
