In today’s environment, it’s vitally important for REALTORS® to keep up on the latest legal and legislative updates. This seminar will update you on state and federal regulatory issues, license law updates, recent cases and other legal issues designed to reduce your risk and keep you on top of the ever-changing world of real estate.

Topics Covered:

  • Update and review of important state legislation impacting the real estate industry
  • Status of legislation re: Foreclosure Changes, Squatters, Foreign Adversaries, Real Property Tax Report
  • Updated Statistics at the Division of Real Estate
  • Discussion on Buyer Representation Agreements
  • Top License Law Violations
  • Case law update including antitrust lawsuits against NAR and Buyer Representation Agreements
  • Discussion of Hot Topics including: Stigmatized property and offsite conditions, Generative AI, Disclosure of inspection reports, advertising/social media, and surveillance on property

CE Information & Required Technology:

  • This course is certified for 3 hours of core law credit.
  • Attendees will need to access the program with a device (phone, laptop, PC) that has a camera, speaker, microphone, and reliable, high-speed internet access. Video, audio, and internet access are all necessary to successfully attend class. Please make sure to test everything ahead of time at
  • Attendees must turn on their video camera and stay within view during the program to receive CE, as active participation will be monitored. Per ODRE requirements, you must be present for at least 90% of the program to receive credit.
