Every generation buys homes differently. Their motivations, communication expectations, technology habits, and decision-making styles all vary — and so should the way real estate professionals work with them.

This professional development course takes a research-based look at five active home-buying generations and breaks down what each group values, how they search for homes, how they make decisions, and what they expect from a real estate professional. The goal: help you better connect with today’s buyers and deliver a client experience that earns referrals across every age group.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the demographic markers that define each generation in today’s buyer market
  • Recognize how life stages and generational characteristics influence buying decisions
  • Compare communication styles and expectations among Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, Baby Boomers, and the Silent Generation
  • Adapt buyer counseling strategies for each group, including motivation, needs, and transaction concerns
  • Apply data-driven insight to marketing, lead follow-up, and service delivery
  • Strengthen long-term client relationships by understanding generational preferences and values
