This presentation will bridge the gap between US macroeconomic indicators and local realities, offering a detailed comparison of national trends versus Ohio’s key CRE markets. Presented by Altus Group's Omar Eltorai and Cole Perry, the presentation will cover the dominant macroeconomic and capital market trends shaping 2026 before focusing on the fundamental performance across the major CRE property sectors within Ohio's main markets.

Omar Eltorai
As Altus Group’s Senior Director of Research, Omar Eltorai conducts, manages and reviews timely and relevant CRE research for internal stakeholders, clients and the industry. His findings improve understanding, develop insights, and improve decision-making for Altus's clients (CRE owners, investors, lenders, brokers) and inform the broader CRE industry. Omar launched Altus’ dedicated Research Team in 2022, successfully connecting Altus data with capital markets and macroeconomy. The Altus Research Team consistently produces insights and shares these through published articles and reports, podcasts, webinars, and speaking appearances. Omar frequently discusses industry insights with CRE professionals, talking with industry leaders, capital market participants, and the media.
Cole Perry
Cole Perry is the Associate Director of Research at Altus Group, a leading provider of commercial real estate intelligence. His role involves delivering key insights into macroeconomics, capital markets, and the broader commercial real estate industry. Cole shares his analysis and market commentary through his regularly published articles, reports, podcasts, and is often quoted in the media. Cole's expertise is rooted in commercial real estate analytics, with previous roles at CompStak and Brixmor Property Group. He holds dual M.S. degrees from Columbia University in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development.
