Live Webinar: Mandatory Elder Abuse Reporting Requirements
July 18, 2019, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
Complimentary recording included w/registration
Effective September 29, 2018, Ohio expanded its list of elder abuse mandatory reporters to include licensed real estate agents and brokers. Mandatory reporters are required to report when they have a reasonable belief that an adult is being abused or is in a condition that is the result of abuse. Perpetrators of elder abuse can include the adults themselves, family, friends, acquaintances or complete strangers. Identifying elder abuse can be difficult as there are several potential indicators and the perpetrators are commonly known and trusted acquaintances of the victim.
Join us for this webinar as we provide instruction to real estate agents and brokers on what constitutes elder abuse, signs of elder abuse in their working environment, what should be reported and how.
