Obtain a higher level of competency and professionalism in the business of property management.
Lorie Garland, Ohio REALTORS vice president of legal services, will cover the recommendations from the Division's Property Management Task Force. Learn if Ohio law will require real estate licensees to obtain an additional permit to provide property management services. Lorie will discuss the permit regulation as well as other license law requirements, including property management accounts, advertising, and unlicensed staff. Also covered will be security deposit requirements, Ohio's Medical Marijuana law and its impact on commercial and residential property and case law update including city ordinances requiring rental inspections and limiting the number of unrelated tenants.
