Global Real Estate: Local Markets will introduce you to the unique dimensions of international practice. The goal is to make students aware of how the global economy impacts their local real estate markets and prepare them to serve foreign clients and customers.
Global opportunity lies where people least realize – not in large, urban markets known for being magnets to multinational organizations and immigrant communities – but in small, metro, and rural regions. This program will show you how to connect with this client base and help you uncover global opportunities in your local market.
This introductory course will introduce real estate professionals to the basic skills and knowledge necessary to facilitate international real estate transactions, offering an overview of the international real estate business environment, including capital flow, currencies, government regulations and cultures. Topics such as international brokerage, networking, marketing, and selling will also be covered.
- This livestream webinar is certified for 6.5 hours of real estate credit, credit towards the CIPS Designation, counts as elective course towards the ABR® Designation.
