As a broker or manager, it is more crucial than ever that you understand the duties in overseeing your brokerage activities. From trust account requirements to oversight of agents and teams, your license law duties will be discussed. Special emphasis will be given to social media advertising, presenting offers and how to handle multiple offers on a property. This 3-hour course will make sure that you have the information you need to stay on the right side of the Division of Real Estate.

Who needs this course:

  • Principal brokers
  • Management level licensees (broker or agent)
  • Associate brokers
  • Brokers on deposit
  • Brokers or managers even if over 70*

Instructed by: Todd Book, Assistant VP of Legal Services for the Ohio REALTORS®, Stephen McCoy, Assistant VP of Legal Services for the Ohio REALTORS®

Credit: This course is certified for the required 3 hours of broker/manager credit.

Per ODRE requirements, you must present 90% of the program in order to receive credit. No partical credit will be given.

IMPORTANT: This course will meet the continuing education requirement for a separate course on broker responsibility required for principal brokers, managers and associate brokers for CE due after April 6, 2020. It should be noted that this 3-hour course must be included in a licensee's 30-hour CE requirement - not in addition.

*Brokers over the age of 70 will now have four core classes (12 total hours to submit instead of nine hours.)
