A word from the Ohio REALTORS 2020 Leadership Team
As we all witnessed the horrible video of the death of George Floyd and see the demonstrations continue in our communities, state and country, the hearts of our Ohio REALTOR family come together with a collective sadness.
Racism has no place in our society. It is our honor and obligation as REALTORS to promote fair housing and equal opportunity for all, to embrace the American Dream of homeownership for all, and to protect the general welfare of our communities for all. We take pride in advocating for those very rights.
Everyone is entitled to their own views and opinions, but as REALTORS, we will not tolerate behavior that glorifies racism or violence in any way. We encourage our members to enforce a zero-tolerance policy on this as well.
We urge every member of Ohio REALTORS to be informed and educated on NAR Fair Housing Materials and the NAR Code of Ethics.
We hope and pray that our country comes out of this in a better place for all.
