Coaching Corner: Are you using your brain power?

Finding new ways to use our brain will support us in all that we do. It is so easy to fall into what I call the addiction of mediocrity. This is where we do not think beyond what we know, we eat the same thing for breakfast each morning, drive to the office exactly the same way, assume that because something is presented to us in the same way that it always has been that it will remain that way.

Here is a bit from the book that addresses how our super brain might think: I look upon every day as a new world, I like to improvise, I adapt quickly to change, I've recently changed a long-held belief or opinion, I'm inspired by my life on a day-to-day basis. These are just a few but they should get you thinking!

Continuing to challenge your brain will not only give you great ideas on a daily basis but will also assist you as you age. Make your brain work for you! Think, listen, read ” keep your brain stimulated!

So...today, do something just a little different. Use your non-dominant hand to brush your teeth, or find something totally different to eat! You decide, and have fun with this!
