Community Champions: REALTORS® help improve oversight of septic systems in Geauga County

The newest episode of the Ohio REALTORS® "Community Champions" video series spotlights the efforts of the Lake & Geauga Area Association of REALTORS® (LGAAR) to improve oversight of septic systems in Geauga County.
REALTORS® and property owners in the County worked with the Geauga County Public Health Department to shift from a "point of sale" inspection requirement to a new operation maintenance program that entails systematic, ongoing oversight of all septic systems.
The newly implemented program provides stronger protections for property owners and the environment -- ensuring that all septic systems are monitored, not just those that are being sold. Watch the full episode below:
