2026 Ohio REALTORS Committee Application

May 15, 2025

Ohio REALTORS needs you! The 2026 Ohio REALTORS Committee Application Process is NOW OPEN!  This year, you can request to serve as committee leadership (Chair/Vice Chair) or a member at the same time through June 30.

Why serve on a committee?

Serving on committees has never been more important. It’s an opportunity to:

  • Make a difference at Ohio REALTORS
  • Positively impact the real estate profession
  • Help build a stronger, more effective Association

Don’t miss this chance to get involved!

How to apply

  • Log in to the Ohio REALTORS Website
  • Click “Member Portal” at the top of the page
  • Click the “Committees” drop-down menu, then select “Committees”
  • Browse committee purposes and submit your application

Pro Tip: We recommend applying to no more than 3 committees to avoid meeting conflicts, but you are able to apply for more!

Your Leadership Team will meet over the summer to finalize appointments. This ensures committee leadership appointments are confirmed by the annual convention in September, and all other appointments are confirmed in October.

Committees and forums typically meet in person during the Winter Conference (February 1-3 in Columbus) and/or the Annual Convention (September 15-17 in Cleveland this year). Committees can meet virtually or in person throughout the year as needed. This depends on issues that need to be addressed. Please keep in mind these time commitments when making your selections. If you have any questions about this, please reach out to the appropriate Ohio REALTORS staff member.

Professional Standards Administration Program

We are launching a separate application process for members interested in roles such as:

  • Grievance or Professional Standards Panelist
  • Mediator
  • Ombudsman

The application process will open in early summer. If you’re interested in the Professional Standards Enforcement Committee, submit your application as outlined above. The size of the committee is limited, which means you might not receive an appointment to the committee. Be sure to watch for the announcement to apply to serve in the program as a panelist, mediator, or ombudsman. Questions can be directed to Cara Budde | .
