Bob Miller receives Ohio REALTORS 2025 Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award
REALTOR® Bob Miller of Columbus REALTORS® was honored with the Ohio REALTORS® 2025 Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award at the Ohio REALTORS® Convention, held September 15-17 in Cleveland, Ohio. The Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes Ohio REALTORS® Past Presidents who continue to provide exemplary service to the organization. Aveni served as President of the association in 1980, and the award was created after his passing in 2006.
The award, created by the Ohio REALTORS® Past Presidents Committee, is bestowed upon a Past President who has demonstrated a continued commitment to the same values and passion for excellence that Aveni displayed throughout his life. Bob Miller served as Ohio REALTORS® President in 2012.
In addition to serving as Ohio REALTORS® President, Miller has been an Ohio REALTORS® Director since 2003. He has served on numerous task forces and committees throughout the years, including Legislative Steering, Legal Action, Political Activity & RPAC Fundraising, Convention, Executive and Finance.
On the national level, Miller served as Director from 2010-2012 and again from 2013-2016. He has served on numerous committees, such as the Land Use Property Rights & Environment, State & Local Issues Policy, REALTOR Party Trustees for Campaign Services and Public Policy Coordinating. Miller has also served on the Leading Edge Advisory Board, Smart Growth Advisory Board, Conventional Finance & Lending and Federal Housing Policy.
Bob Miller plays a significant role in supporting the industry. He has been inducted into the Ohio RPAC Hall of Fame and the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame. Miller has contributed to RPAC at the Crystal R level since 2023, previously contributing at the Sterling R designation from 2003, 2009, 2011-2022.
Miller has been civically involved in his community through a variety of leadership and service roles. He held multiple positions within the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Dublin Foundation, Shawnee Hills Chamber of Commerce and Central Ohio Chapter of The Arthritis Foundation. In addition, he has served as an Appraiser for the Franklin County Probate Court.
