Rich Piraino receives Ohio REALTORS 2025 Political Coordinator Service Award
During last week’s Ohio REALTORS® Annual Convention, REALTOR® Rich Piraino was honored with the 2025 Political Coordinator Service award, a recognition of his years of dedicated advocacy and leadership on behalf of Ohio’s real estate professionals.
The award recognizes a REALTOR® whose outstanding work with elected officials contributes to creating a sound and dynamic Ohio real estate market and fostering vibrant communities.
Piraino, of Chardon, has spent the past seven years serving as a Political Coordinator for State Representatives Sarah Fowler Arthur (R-Ashtabula) and State Senator Jerry Cirino (R-Kirtland). In that role, he has helped amplify the voice of REALTORS® by building strong relationships with lawmakers, organizing political events, and volunteering on legislative campaigns. He is also an active member of the Lake & Geauga Area Association of REALTORS® and has served on numerous committees and workgroups with Ohio REALTORS® through the years.
The announcement was made during the Ohio REALTORS® Annual Convention & EXPO, held September 14–17 in Cleveland.

The Ohio REALTORS® Political Coordinator Program connects key REALTORS® with members of the Ohio General Assembly and Congress to keep elected officials informed on real estate issues at both the state and federal levels. Coordinators stay engaged year-round in local districts, at the Statehouse, and in Washington, D.C., to help drive Ohio REALTORS® legislative efforts.
