The Ohio REALTORS® Global Business Alliance has once again earned the Platinum Council designation from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) — the highest honor awarded to global groups that demonstrate outstanding achievement in international real estate. This recognition was presented during NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience 2025, held November 1416 in Houston, Texas.

This national recognition celebrates the Global Business Alliance’s continued innovation, strategic partnerships, and leadership in promoting global real estate engagement. NAR commended Ohio REALTORS® for its “award-winning global outreach, education, and awareness,” noting that the council has set a strong standard for collaboration and member engagement.

Under the inspiring leadership of Chair Gloria Cannon and Vice Chair Jennifer Moore, the Global Business Alliance has built upon its momentum to expand Ohio REALTORS®’ international footprint and deepen connections across borders. Together, they guided a 20-member advisory committee committed to developing impactful programming, facilitating partnerships, and providing REALTORS® with the resources and education needed to thrive in an increasingly global market.

“This Platinum recognition is not only an honor — it’s a reflection of our members’ passion and commitment to global collaboration,” said Gloria Cannon, 2025 Chair of the Ohio REALTORS® Global Business Alliance. “Ohio REALTORS® are making powerful connections that strengthen our communities, open international opportunities, and showcase the value of working together across borders.”

A Year of Growth and Global Connection

  • Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Expanding Ohio’s “We’ll Get You There” campaign by translating it into Japanese, Italian, and French, helping REALTORS® connect more effectively with diverse clients across Ohio and abroad.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Deepening engagement with international partners such as JARECO (Japan Real Estate Companies Association) and AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America), while continuing to strengthen Ohio’s bilateral relationship with Finland through NAR’s Ambassador Association program.
