Attendees will earn one hour of Continuing Education credit through an engaging mock trial centered on a service animal scenario. This is an interactive way to better understand real-world fair housing challenges. The summit can also be applied toward renewal of your DE&I Certificate!
Our legal team will provide important updates on the new Fair Housing Disclosure form that will soon go into effect for all Ohio licensees. They’ll walk through what the form is, why it matters and how to ensure compliance with the latest licensing requirements.
Roy Hall Jr., a former Ohio State Buckeye and Indianapolis Colts player, will share personal stories from his family’s experience with housing discrimination, including redlining, and will explore how the community you live in can shape your life.
Derreck Kayongo, a refugee from Uganda who became a successful CEO and globally recognized human rights advocate, will bring a broader perspective to the conversation. Also, Dan Doepke, Director of Member Policy at NAR, and Matt Difanis, Illinois Broker/Owner, dive into insights tied to Article 10 of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.
