Coaching Corner: Living in the loop!

Coaching Corner: Living in the loop!

Living in the loop is about focusing your attention on what is happening outside of yourself, and then back in to what is happening within you. Out, then in. Simple, right? There are many benefits to this process both within your personal and your business worlds.

I want you to use this process in determining your best actions. Our society is so much about “doing,” that often the “being” drops out. Our actions are frequently generated from our old beliefs, or what we think we should do. Today I want you to use this simple process to act from what you need and/or what you want.

The more you can pause and check inward before you act, the clearer and more inspired your actions will be. So when something happens, rather than reacting, you take a moment to reflect on what you need or want in this situation and then proceed accordingly. We have also talked before about how to use your curiosity to assist your forward movements. One of my mentors, Katie Hendricks, posed the brilliant question “what wants to happen here?” I love this question, which opens up possibilities that perhaps we have not thought of.

In our day to day activities, use this process to check in to see what choices or actions will most support you and who you are. This might include food choices, social choices, how much time you spend on a certain activities. Being aware and checking back inside will lead you to a fuller life of activities that reflect YOU! Enjoy!
