Coaching Corner: Just one more tip!

Coaching Corner: Just one more tip!

In my attempts to stay as organized as possible, especially this time of year, I am constantly seeking new methods to create more ease both within my work and also personally. During this particular holiday season, I have engaged more in online shopping which has been wonderful. It became clear early on that I needed to track what I ordered to be able to keep tabs on anticipated packages

So...I created a sheet titled “Waiting,” where I listed each item as I ordered it with a corresponding date. There! That should do it! And it did. In fact, there was indeed a package that did not show up and without the “Waiting List” I would not have caught it. Yay!

Hmm, this is working quite well, so well in fact that I incorporated it within my business. As an example, I may need to change an appointment time with a coaching client. In the past, I would send the email and go on my merry way. It may take someone a few days to respond, and in the meantime I have booked something else in that space. Using the waiting list I know that there is a time being held.

There are countless examples I could cite but I know you get the idea here. This particular list has allowed me to rest easy and eliminate even more “mental clutter” knowing that any items hanging out there are identified and promptly crossed off when complete.

This is just a little tip that has been very helpful for me. You may be way ahead of the game and use something even more productive or perhaps this idea will generate something inspiring for you. In either case, I hope it helps! Enjoy!
