Coaching Corner: Preparing for 2016 (Part One)

Dec 23, 2015

By "Coach" Marilou Butcher Roth

It's that time of the year where we begin to think about our New Year's Resolutions for the upcoming year, identifying actions that will bring us (hopefully) to feeling better about ourselves either personally or professionally. Yep, I totally get that process. This year, I want to expand your thoughts beginning with today's post and finishing next week.

As we move through Holiday festivities, I want you to consider the idea of success and what it means to you individually. It is so easy in our society to get caught up in the should of success, and often, these are indeed societal shoulds rather than our own.

So what does success mean to you? In exploring your business, ask yourself what success would look like to you at this time next year. Is it about the number of transactions? Do you want to establish a consistent method of generating business? Do you want to shift your focus to listings? Or perhaps hone your communication skills to improve your business relationships. Think BIG!

What about personally? Are you looking to spend more family time? You may be wanting success within your physical, mental or spiritual world. What would success look like with your key relationships?

Don't allow yourself to succumb to mediocrity! What do YOU want? Next week we will look at creating the action steps around your wants!!

Merry Christmas!
