Coaching Corner: Appreciating to feel good!

Many of you have read my blogs over the years around the Thanksgiving holiday, and I make every effort to keep the redundancy down as much as possible. This holiday certainly lends itself to being thankful and appreciating our lives. Today, I want to give it just a bit of a different slant.
We think about appreciating being for the recipient. Today, let’s think in different terms. What happens for you when you genuinely appreciate someone or something? If it is truly done from an authentic place, you feel pretty good, don’t you?
This Thanksgiving, I invite you to set yourself in position to FIND things to appreciate. This might be someone, something or even yourself!!! The key is to actively seek these items out consciously. Consider it a daily task and see what magic can happen.
