The course focuses on helping residential REALTORS® identify commercial opportunities within their existing client base while understanding the limitations of their expertise and the importance of risk management, agency compliance, due diligence, and professional collaboration. Participants will be introduced to the major commercial asset classes, common commercial real estate terminology, Ohio licensing and agency considerations, commercial lease structures, tenant representation services, and best practices for navigating commercial transactions. You’ll learn how commercial transactions differ from residential transactions and gain a framework for safely entering the commercial real estate marketplace.
