Teams Summit

Ohio REALTORS is excited to introduce a Teams Summit to be held on location the day before our Broker Summit.  Teams are becoming more common in the real estate industry as they help increase sales productivity by allowing individual team members to thrive within their own strengths and skill sets.  We’ll welcome top industry experts to help us discern the benefits, the concerns, and how to do it right.

Our Teams Summit will be held the morning of October 17^th and we’ll offer our popular Brokerage Management: Understanding Your Responsibilities course in the afternoon, followed by our Broker Summit on October 18^th – 2 full days of Broker focused programming!

A Networking Reception will be held from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm on October 17^th – register TODAY and come build meaningful connections with fellow Brokers!

Separate registration is required for the Teams Summit and Brokerage Management programs.  Register for all 3 programs for a special package rate of just $249!

Team Summit Agenda

9:00 am – 10:30 am        How to Build a Real Estate Team the Right Way - Jared James, Real Estate Speaker, Author, & Coach

The unfortunate truth about our industry is that you go to hours and hours of classes that teach you how to pass a test and get your license, but nobody really teaches you how to run a business.

In this program Jared breaks down how to determine what pace to grow at, when it's time to start hiring, what to look for and how to hire the right people, which hires should come first and what systems are necessary to scale the right way because the stronger and more systematized your team is, the better the talent that you will attract to join it.

Attendees should come ready to take lots of notes because this is a session filled with a lot of hands-on, practical content.

10:45 am – 12:15 pm      To Team or Not to Team? - Adorna Carroll, DSA, CRB, ABR, SRS, GRI, SRES, Broker/Owner of Realty3 of CT, President of Dynamic Directions

Although popular, teams are not for everyone but for those that are inclined, this program will look at what to consider before you start a team, what you need to consider if you already have a team and the issues you need to be aware of if you manage teams in your company.

Credit: This course is certified for the required 3 hours real estate credit.  Per ODRE requirements, you must present 90% of the program in order to receive credit.
