The Political Coordinator Service award recognizes one whose outstanding work contributes to creating a sound and dynamic Ohio real estate market and fostering vibrant communities.

Contest entry deadline: July 1, 2023

The recipient of the Political Coordinator Service Award will be awarded during the Awards Gala at our Annual Convention in Cleveland.

Entry Participants: Local Board Executive Officers, GADs, Local Presidents, Legislative Chairs, and RPAC Chairs can apply on behalf of the Political Coordinator, so please check with one another as to who your nominee is going to be. This award is for either State or Federal Political Coordinators. Only one nominee is allowed per local board.

AWARD CRITERIA | 2023 APPLICATION

The recipient of the PC Service Award must meet a detailed list of criteria that sets them apart from other PCs. Not only must the honoree demonstrate a strong relationship with their assigned legislator and a willingness to educate their legislator on issues most pressing to the real estate industry, but the recipient MUST also:

  1. Have served as a PC (State or Federal) for a minimum of two consecutive years.
  2. Demonstrate effectiveness as the representative of the REALTOR Party and real estate issues.
  3. Participate in various political events in the district on behalf of their legislator (i.e., set up meeting for the Member at their local association, etc.)
  4. Show a history of volunteering for the legislators’ campaign (i.e., host a fundraiser, canvass the neighborhood, make phone calls, or donate their office as a phone bank, etc.)
  5. Make a personal contribution to the legislator.
  6. RPAC investment history is strongly encouraged.
  7. Only one nominee per local board.
