Lisa Stewart receives Ohio's 2019 'REALTOR of the Year' Award
Lisa Stewart, of Newark, is presented Ohio's 2019 "REALTOR of the Year" Award by Ohio REALTORS Treasurer Seth Task, who won the award in 2017. The presentation was made at the Ohio REALTORS Annual Convention & EXPO in Cincinnati, Sept. 16-18.
REALTOR Lisa Stewart, of Newark, was honored as the Ohio REALTORS 2019 “REALTOR of the Year.”
The announcement of Stewart’s selection was made at the Ohio REALTORS 109th Annual Convention & EXPO, Sept. 16-18, in Cincinnati.
Stewart was nominated by the Licking County Board of REALTORS and is affiliated with HER REALTORS at Buckeye Lake. She has been a REALTOR since 2007.
Judging of the “REALTOR of the Year” award is based on professional achievements, local REALTOR Board/Association activities, service the Ohio and National Association of REALTORS, as well as business and education experience and civic activities.
Stewart served as President of the Licking County Board of REALTORS in 2016. She has served on its Board of Directors since 2012. Additionally, she has served as a member and in leadership on a variety of the Licking County Board’s Committees, including: REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC), Legislative, Nominating, Strategic Planning, Core Standards, By Laws, MLS and Installation, among others.
On the state level, Stewart has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2012. In 2018, she served as Chair of RPAC Fundraising and Vice Chair for My REALTOR Party for Ohio REALTORS. Additionally, she served as a member and in leadership for a number of other Committees and Forums for the organization, including: Legislative Steering, Communications, Local Government Forum and Professional Standards, among others.
Stewart serves as on the National Association of REALTORS Federal Political Coordinator Team for Congressman Troy Balderson.
In 2018 Stewart obtained the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) professional designation.
Civically, she is a Past President with Buckeye Lake Region Chamber of Commerce and has served as a Board Member for a decade, serves as a Board Member doe Explore Buckeye Lake, and is a member of Buckeye Lake Civic Association Board.
The Ohio REALTORS, with more than 32,000 members, is the largest professional trade association in Ohio.
