Ohio REALTORS Care initiative provides 280,000 meals!
The Ohio REALTORS community raised $70,000 to benefit the Ohio Association of Foodbanks, that serve foodbanks across the state's 88 counties.
"Our Ohio REALTORS Care initiative was a remarkable success, as our fundraising helped provide more than 280,000 meals," said President Chris Reese. "Every dollar raised will make a huge impact on our communities -- helping those in need and those adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. These are indeed challenging times and our profession responded to the call, helping to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our fellow Ohioans."
The Ohio REALTORS Cares initiative was a joint effort by the organization, members, and Local Boards/Associations -- all donating funds to the Ohio Association of Foodbanks, which operates a collaborative network of Ohio's 12 Feeding America foodbanks that serve all 88 counties in the state. Ohio REALTORS, which made a $10,000 donation, were joined by the following participating Local Boards/Associations and MLS:

"While we're thankful for the widespread support from our member Boards and Association, we're even more humbled by the outpouring of support this initiative received from the many individual members who made donations to this important campaign," Reese added. "We are truly a profession that cares about our communities and improving the lives of those we serve."
