Community Champions: REALTORS help improve oversight of septic systems in Geauga County

The newest episode of the Ohio REALTORS "Community Champions" video series spotlights the efforts of the Lake & Geauga Area Association of REALTORS (LGAAR) to improve oversight of septic systems in Geauga County.
REALTORS and property owners in the County worked with the Geauga County Public Health Department to shift from a "point of sale" inspection requirement to a new operation maintenance program that entails systematic, ongoing oversight of all septic systems.
The newly implemented program provides stronger protections for property owners and the environment -- ensuring that all septic systems are monitored, not just those that are being sold. Watch the full episode below:
