Ohio REALTORS® Awards the 2026 REALTOR® of the Year to Jennifer Allen
Ohio REALTORS® awarded its 2026 "REALTOR® of the Year" honor to Jennifer Allen of the Lake & Geauga Area Association of REALTORS®.
Ohio REALTORS® announced Allen's selection at the Ohio REALTORS® 116th Annual Convention & EXPO, Sept. 14-16 in Columbus.
Judging for the REALTOR® of the Year award is based on professional achievements, local REALTOR® association activities, service to Ohio REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) involvement, and business and educational experience and civic activities.
Jennifer Allen has built an impressive record of leadership and service throughout her real estate career, consistently making a positive impact on the local, state and national levels of the REALTOR® organization. She is recognized for her dedication to professional standards, leadership development and mentoring fellow REALTORS®, while encouraging members to become active in organized real estate.
Within the Lake & Geauga Area Association of REALTORS®, Allen has served in numerous leadership roles, including President in 2025 and President-elect in 2024. She has chaired the Strategic Planning Committee and served on the Executive, Finance, Legislative, Professional Standards, Bylaws, New REALTOR® Orientation and Grievance committees, among many others.
Allen's service to Ohio REALTORS® is equally distinguished. She currently serves on the Executive Committee and has been a long-term member of the Board of Directors. Throughout her tenure, she has chaired the Communications, Professional Development and Scholarship committees, while also serving on the Professional Standards Committee, Ohio Leadership Academy Task Force and numerous other leadership initiatives.
Nationally, Allen has been active with the National Association of REALTORS®, serving as Ohio's Professional Standards appointee for three years. She is also a member of the Women's Council of REALTORS® and served as the organization's 2024 president.
Committed to professional excellence, Allen has earned several professional designations and certifications, including the Professional Property Stager (PPS), Certified Real Estate Negotiator (CREN), Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) endorsement and Fairhaven training. She regularly participates in professional standards, legal and legislative education to remain at the forefront of the industry.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Allen has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving her community. She has volunteered with the Cleveland Food Bank on at least a monthly basis since 2019.
