AJ Frye receives Ohio REALTORS® 2026 Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award
REALTOR® Anjanette "AJ" Frye received the Ohio REALTORS® 2026 Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award at the Ohio REALTORS® Convention, held September 14-16 in Columbus, Ohio. The Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes Ohio REALTORS® Past Presidents who continue to provide exemplary service to the organization. Aveni served as President of the association in 1980, and the award was created after his passing in 2006.
The Ohio REALTORS® Past Presidents Committee created the award and bestows it on a Past President who has demonstrated a continued commitment to the same values and passion for excellence Aveni displayed throughout his life. AJ Frye served as Ohio REALTORS® President in 2019.
In addition to serving as Ohio REALTORS® President, Frye has been an Ohio REALTORS® Director since 2014. She has served on numerous task forces and committees throughout the years, including the Global Business Alliance Advisory Group, NAR Strategy, Political Activity & RPAC Fundraising, Legislative Steering, Legal Action, Strategic Planning, Executive and Finance.
On the national level, Frye served as Director in 2012, 2014, from 2016 to 2020, and again in 2022. She has served on numerous committees such as RPAC Trustees Federal Disbursement, RPAC Trustees Fundraising as a Regional Representative, Housing Opportunity, Commercial, and Commercial Real Estate Research. Frye has also served as a committee liaison, NAR Commercial & Business Specialist liaison, Cryptocurrency PAG, Credentials Work Group, Commercial RPAC travel team member, Chair/Vice Chair State Leadership Idea Exchange Council, and Chair/Vice Chair Property Management Forum.
AJ Frye plays a significant role in supporting the industry. She has been inducted into the Ohio RPAC Hall of Honor and the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame. Frye has contributed to RPAC at the Golden R level since 2016, previously at the Sterling R level from 2012-2015, and has contributed to RPAC since 1996.
Frye has been civically involved in her community through a variety of leadership and service roles. She is the volleyball representative for the Centerville High School Boosters, helps feed thousands of people each Thanksgiving at the Dayton Feast of Thanksgiving at the Dayton Convention Center, and volunteers at Sisca, a pet adoption wellness center.
