Nancy Farkas receives Ohio REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award (DSA)
Ohio REALTORS® awarded its 2026 Distinguished Service Award to Nancy Farkas from Dayton REALTORS®. The Distinguished Service Award (DSA) was created to honor individuals who have dedicated 25 years or more of active involvement in the local, state, and national associations of REALTORS®, including participation in REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC).
Farkas has been an RPAC Major Investor every year since 2012, an RPAC investor since 2000, and has served on the Ohio REALTORS® RPAC Fundraising Committee since 2010. She has served on her local RPAC Committee intermittently since 2007. In addition, Farkas has served as a State Political Coordinator since 2020. She has served at the state level since 2002 and at locally since 2002, including as President in 2013.
Due to lifelong advocacy against discrimination, Farkas has joined the Greater Dayton Realist Association, Ohio Realist Association, and the Women’s Council of Ohio. She has also served as a Board Member for Dayton Public Radio since 1998, among other community and council involvement.
