Ohio REALTORS® Reveals 2026 YPN of the Year Award Winner
Ohio REALTORS® is proud to announce that Columbus REALTORS® has been honored as the 2026 Young Professionals Network (YPN) of the Year. The announcement was made during the Ohio REALTORS® 116th Annual Convention & EXPO, Sept. 16-16 in Columbus, Ohio. This award is presented to a Local Association that demonstrates outstanding efforts in involving, recruiting, and representing young professionals in the real estate industry while upholding the goals and mission of YPN as established by the National Association of REALTORS®.
Columbus REALTORS® have shown exceptional dedication to both professional development and community service throughout the year. This year, they volunteered at the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center, hosted a Drag Bingo Trivia Night to raise funds for Kaleidoscope Youth Center, and organized a Backpack Drive benefiting The Buckeye Ranch. They are also planning a Friends-Giving Food Drive to benefit a local food bank, demonstrating their continued commitment to giving back to the community.
In addition to their community involvement, the group organized several professional development and networking opportunities, including creating an Advisory Group chaired by a former YPN chair to help grow the current and future network. They also hosted a networking event for new members at the Game Show Battle Room in Hilliard, providing a fun environment for members to connect and build relationships. Additionally, Columbus REALTORS® staff hosted an event introducing members to the association and providing insight into the various roles within the organization. Another event featured Ohio REALTORS® President Mic Gordon discussing the REALTOR® & Affiliate Wellness Group and Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano discussing the Triennial Property Value Update and concerns surrounding rising property taxes. These efforts showcase the group’s commitment to professional development, leadership, and engagement within the association.
