Tony Macaluso Receives Ohio REALTORS® 2026 Political Coordinator Service Award
REALTOR®® Tony Macaluso, of Columbus, was honored with the Ohio REALTORS®® 2026 Political Coordinator Service Award.
The award recognizes a REALTOR®® whose outstanding work with elected officials contributes to creating a sound and dynamic Ohio real estate market and fostering vibrant communities.
The announcement of Macaluso’s selection was made at the Ohio REALTORS®® Annual Convention & EXPO, Sept. 14-16, in Columbus.
As a State Political Coordinator for Senator Bill DeMora (D–Columbus), Macaluso has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to advocacy. He has built a strong working relationship with the Senator through consistent engagement, active participation in campaign and fundraising efforts, and by fostering meaningful connections between REALTOR®® leadership and Senator DeMora. Macaluso’s dedication has helped ensure the voice of Ohio REALTORS®® is continually heard.
Macaluso is a REALTOR®® member of Columbus REALTORS®® and has served on numerous committees and workgroups with Ohio REALTORS®® through the years.
The Ohio REALTORS®® Political Coordinator program pairs key REALTORS®® with lawmakers at the federal and state level. Coordinators are asked to maintain relationships with specific members of the Ohio General Assembly and Congress to keep them up-to-date on REALTOR®® issues. They stay in touch throughout the year in the legislator's home district as well as at the Ohio Statehouse and in Washington, D.C. to help reinforce the Association's legislative agenda.
