Columbus REALTOR Ted Oatts honored with Distinguished Service Award
Oatts is associated with Worthington Realty, Columbus, and is a member of the Columbus REALTORS.
OAR created the "Distinguished Service Award" to recognize long-standing members of the Association who have demonstrated an uncommon commitment to the goals and purposes of the REALTOR association at all levels.
Those eligible for the award must have been active members of the Association for 25 years and cannot have served as OAR president.
Oatts has been actively involved in nearly all committees of the Columbus REALTORS, including Commercial Industrial, Governmental Affairs and the Central Ohio REALTORS Political Action Committee. He was honored as Columbus REALTOR of the Year in 2008 and, that same year, was selected as OAR's REALTOR of the Year.
At OAR, Oatts has been actively involved in the Association for 39 years, including service on the Legislative, Local Government, REALTOR Political Action Committee Fundraising and Professional Development Committees/Forums, among others.
Oatts is also on the Worthington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is involved in Habitat for Humanity.
