Coaching Corner: Creating memorable value that reflects your expertise

Coaching Corner: Creating memorable value that reflects your expertise

All of us are consumers and sometimes we forget that and think too much like REALTORS. When we are interacting with clients; current, prospective or past, we need to be thinking like they do. Our role is to educate and consult from a place that provides value to the consumer. We are the connection to this industry and what we say, write and give need to reflect the highest level of professionalism that they deserve.

For our past clients, it is vital that we stay in touch with them on an ongoing basis. Try to individualize your connection as much as possible and no matter how friendly you have become with them, always ask yourself how you can keep that ever important real estate connection as well. They may enjoy you as a person but you want them to consider you their real estate resource.

This is also true for prospective and current clients, always ask yourself, “How can I be of most service to this person right now?” Take a moment and think about their needs and what their desired outcome is. Each of our clients is an individual that wants and deserves individual attention, not just something that you do for everyone. Each of us want to know that our needs as a consumer matter and from this way of thinking, you will find much happier clients and you will find yourself enjoying this business even more!
