REALTORS Sue Lusk-Gleich, of Columbus, and Georgiana Nye, of Dayton, were named recipients of the Ohio Association of REALTORS' 2016 "Distinguished Service Award."

Lusk-Gleich served as president of Columbus REALTORS in 2010 and founded the Board's Leadership Academy. She is currently active in the following committees: Strategic Planning, Columbus REALTORS Foundation Board of Trustees, Leadership Academy Advisory Board, Governmental Affairs, Legislative Steering and Central Ohio's REALTORS PAC Governing Board and PAC Fundraising Committees.

For OAR, Lusk-Gleich is a current member of: the Ohio REALTORS Political Action Committee, Leadership Academy Advisory Board, Strategic Planning, Legislative Steering, Issues Mobilization,Scholarship Foundation, Enlarged Legislative, Local Government Forum, Economic Issues & Trends and the Legal Issues Committees.

For the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), Lusk-Gleich recently served on: Federal Financing & Housing Policy Committee, Treasurer's and Large Board Forums and as an NAR Director. She is a NAR RPAC Hall of Fame member and been a Women's Council of REALTORS member since 1995.

Nye is associated with Coldwell-Banker Heritage REALTORS, Dayton, and is a member of the Dayton Area Board of REALTORS. Lusk-Gleich is associated with Keller-Williams Capital Partners, Columbus, and is a member of the Columbus REALTORS.

OAR created the "Distinguished Service Award" to recognize long-standing members of the Association who have demonstrated an uncommon commitment to the goals and purposes of the REALTOR association at all levels. Those eligible for the award must have been active members of the Association for 25 years and cannot have served as OAR president.

Nye served as the Dayton Area Board's president in 2007. Recently her local Board activity includes: Scholarship, Legislative/RPAC, Finance, Forms, Nominating, Leadership Development, Professional Standards and Strategic Planning Committees.

At the state level, Nye has been active on OAR's: Legislative, RPAC Trustees, Political Activity & RPAC Fundraising, Scholarship and Legal Action Committees. Additionally she serves on the Leadership Academy Program Committee and its Advisory Board.

At the national level, Nye recently served on NAR's Consumer Communications and State and Local Issues Policy Committees.

The Ohio Association of REALTORS, with more than 30,000 members, is the largest professional trade association in Ohio.
