Ralph Mantica receives Ohio's 2018 'REALTOR of the Year' Award

Ralph Mantica, of Dayton, is presented Ohio's 2018 "REALTOR of the Year" Award by 2016 recipient Gloria Cannon during the organization's Annual Conference & EXPO in Columbus.

 

REALTOR Ralph Mantica, of Dayton, was honored as the Ohio REALTORS 2018 “REALTOR of the Year.”

The announcement of Mantica's selection was made at the Ohio REALTORS 108th Annual Convention & EXPO, Sept. 16-18, in Columbus.

Mantica was nominated by the Dayton REALTORS and is owner/broker of Kinzeler Realty. He has been a REALTOR since 1985.

Judging of the “REALTOR of the Year” award is based on professional achievements, local REALTOR Board/Association activities, service to the Ohio and National Association of REALTORS, as well as business and education experience and civic activities.

Mantica served as President of Dayton REALTORS in 2015. Additionally, he has served as member and in leadership on a variety of Dayton REALTOR Committees, including: Building Advisory, Executive, Finance, Forms, Government Affairs, Grievance, Legislative, Nominating, Past Presidents, Property Management, Professional Standards and Strategic Planning, among others.

On the state level, Mantica has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2011, most recently serving as District 5 Vice President. He has served as a member and in leadership for a number of the organization's committees and task forces, including: Business Technology, Communications, Convention, Executive, Finance, Legal Issues, Legal Action, Legislative, Local Government, MLS Forum, Professional Development, Professional Standards, and Residential Property Management & Investment, among others.

Mantica serves as a member of the National Association of REALTORS' (NAR) REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC) Major Investor Council in 2018.

He earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) professional designations from NAR and will serve as President of the Ohio Residential Real Estate Council in 2019. Mantica is a graduate of both the Dayton REALTORS and Ohio REALTORS Leadership Academies. He has been a RPAC major investor to the for the past four years.

Civically, he has been involved with St. Alberts Church Parish Council, St. Alberts Athletic Association, a founding member and past President of the Alter High School Football Association Knights of Gold, member of the Alter High School Boosters, and the Boy Scouts of America, among others.

The Ohio REALTORS, with more than 33,000 members, is the largest professional trade association in Ohio.
